Now Streaming– Hello My Dearest
Back in December of 2022, I threw together this collection of demos, which were recorded onto a single cassette tape by the SIM Eventworks team for their VideoStore installation at MassArt. My hard drive had been wiped that summer, erasing the vast majority of my project files. What I was left with were the demos I'd posted on SoundCloud or had laying around in Google Drive. The cassette was a way of sharing those unfinished tracks and finishing that chapter. Someone ended up nabbing the tape from the gallery, which is cool- I hope they liked it.
The earliest track, 4amar, is an early beat I made back in 2019, fittingly, for Amar, which ended up becoming his Art Slob song titled Toothpaste_beat, an 8 Ball Village style throwback.
I decided to release this one for real, cause there are a few special tracks on this project that I think you should hear– and some other junk too.
